BLDUP features our work with the Housing Corporation of Arlington, where we delivered a net-zero, Passive House ADU through our microfactory production system. Built in place of an underutilized garage, the project introduces a two-story, 900-square-foot home designed to expand housing options within an existing neighborhood. The home is fully electric and supported by solar and battery storage, aligning long-term performance with affordability goals.
Constructed at our offsite microfactory and assembled on site, the project reflects a more coordinated approach to delivery, with design, manufacturing, and build carried through a single system. The work also highlights how smaller housing formats can serve as a practical entry point for bringing new production models into real communities. The result is a high-performance home that demonstrates what’s possible when housing is designed, built, and delivered as an integrated process.
